studying marine life on the west coast of Mull for 25 years.
With our experienced guides onboard having a full knowledge of the oceans
cetacean life, birdlife, and a working knowledge of Tobermory's

Our craft has toilets, a tuck shop
serving teas, coffee's, and a range of snacks which are
available by asking our guides onboard who have full knowledge of the boat, including all of
the safety equipment onboard.
The craft is allowed
to carry 40 persons and has ample indoor and
outdoor deck space including the higher deck which is
better for spotting wildlife in the distance.
Seal
cruise
A short cruise taking 30 mins to the
local seal colony. Enjoy views of 'Balamory' from a
boat, and look for some of the houses from the popular
children’s series.

Eco Cruise
Visit a seal colony on calve island on
route you will cruise alongside a fish farm learning
about salmon farming as well as getting the history of
bloody bay where the farm is located ,Learn the secrets
of the famous Spanish Galleon that sank in Tobermory
bay.
There is a lot of wildlife to be seen on these
trips, Possibly we will see Sea Eagles, Golden Eagles and of course
many seabirds. Listen to prawns chatting on the seabed and dolphins
when they are about, with our underwater hydrophone. Minke Whale and
Dolphins sometimes appear in these waters, so you never know?
On your return towards Tobermory show off your new
found knowledge by taking part in our quiz. Prizes for winners.
Finally haul a lobster pot and learn the history of the waterfall
in Tobermory bay before returning to the pontoon.

Why not come and join us on our daily 6
hour voyages looking for some of the oceans greatest
cetaceans? Primarily we see Minke
Whales, Basking Sharks, and Harbour Porpoise on a
regular basis. Not so common but occasionally spotted are
Dolphins, Orca, and Sunfish which we mostly see between
the Isle of Coll, Isle of Muck and the entrance to the
Sound of Mull.
All the sightings you see
with us are logged and recorded for research purposes
helping us to understand the behaviour and movements by
cetaceans in the scottish waters of the Atlantic ocean.
there is also much birdlife to be seen - Puffins,
Gannets,
Razorbills, and many more sea birds. There are also White-tailed and Golden
Eagles to be
seen around Mulls shores.
On leaving Tobermory we are looking out for
Harbour
Porpoise, Seals, Puffins, Gannets, many other sea birds and White-tailed and
Golden Eagles. We occasionally see Basking Shark,
Dolphins and Minke Whales in the sound of Mull.
On your return back into the Sound of Mull you will see the salmon
farm, whilst at the same time keeping you eye open for the Eagles
soaring above you high in the sky.
On passing Ardmore Lighthouse we
give all the children aboard a wee quiz whilst
heading for the seal
colony where you get the opportunity to get a few pictures of the
seals in their natural habitat. After if there is still time we will
cross the bay to the waterfall where we tell a little of Tobermory's
history and conclude your half days wildlife adventure.
Cruise aboard Sula Beag. She can carry 40 passengers in the exciting and rich seas
around our islands and is perfect for both birdwatchers and cetacean spotters.
We spend 2
hours starting at 8pm looking at the splendour of Mull and surrounding countryside looking out
for any wildlife the Sound of Mull has to offer from cetaceans to
seabirds . with a small refreshment of shortbread and a tot of Tobermory
whisky.
