Land
on the world renowned Island of Staffa with
Turus Mara to experience the unique and awesome
wonder of Fingal’s Cave. It takes little
imagination to hear Mendelssohn’s music amongst
the massive basaltic columns which create this
natural cathedral. "The Burg" and the area known
as "The Wilderness", the cliffs of Gribun, all
contrast with the smoother softness of stepped
lava flows which comprise the North.
Cruise out Loch Na Keal
through this magnificent natural backdrop to the
island of Staffa and Fingal’s Cave and have an
hour ashore to savour one of the Wonders of the
World before the short (30 min) cruise to Lunga.

Amongst the many "possibles" on your day’s
journey on the edge of the Atlantic are Golden
and Sea Eagles, otters, whales, basking sharks,
dolphins and porpoises.
The scenery is second to none, the natives are
friendly!
Turus
Mara, which means "sea journey", offer a
cultural aspect to their cruises. One of few
tourism activity operations run by an indigenous
family – part of the commentary will usually be
in Gaelic, the original language of the West
Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
